1. According to G.O. NO 528(1)15(H.E.)71/97 Dated 11th June 1997- 75% attendance in both tutorials and lectures, separately, is required to appear in any examination.
2. In the following condition the Principal and the Vice-Chancellor have the right of relaxation, in required attendance, by 6% and 9% respectively:
   
   (a) If a candidate is suffering from any prolonged and serious disease and he or she has submitted a medical certificate for the same within the 15 days of commencement of classes.
   (b) Any other equivalent condition with justifiable reason.
